It is He who produced for you hearing, and eyes, and hearts; little thanks you show. 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 'When we are dead and become dust and bones shall we be resurrected? 82 “Indeed this promise was given to us and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of earlier people.” 83 Say O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “To Whom does the earth and all that is in it belong to, if you know?” 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
