It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 He it is who has multiplied you on the earth and to Him you shall all be gathered: 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and for Him are the alternations of night and day; so do you not have sense? 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 We and our forefathers were promised this before. This is nothing but fables of the ancients." 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Ask them: "Say, if you indeed know, to whom belongs the dominion over all things; (Who is it) that grants asylum, but against Whom no asylum is available?" 88 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 God has never given birth to a son and there is no other god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others. God is too exalted to be as they believe Him to be. 91 who has knowledge of the Unseen and the Visible; high exalted be He, above that they associate! 92
