Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 It is God who has settled you on the earth and before Him you will all be assembled. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 Nay, but they say the like of what their predecessors of yore had said. 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 "Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!" 83 Say O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “To Whom does the earth and all that is in it belong to, if you know?” 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Say: "Who is (the) Lord of the seven heavens, and (the) Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Say: 'In whose hand is the dominion of everything, protecting and Himself unprotected, if you have knowledge?' 88 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 Allah has not taken to Himself any son, there is no other god with Him. Were this otherwise each god would have taken that which he created, and some of them would have risen above others; Exalted is Allah beyond that they describe! 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
