Say, "Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is the best, We are the Best Knower of that which they utter. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 I seek refuge with You, Lord, lest they should come near me." 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah – of which he does not have any proof – his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
