Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers' 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
