Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
