SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 Then as for him whose good deeds are preponderant, these are the successful. 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 'What, were My signs not recited to you, and you cried them lies?' 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 Did you imagine that We created you without any purpose, and that you will not be brought back to Us?" 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 One who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
