Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 O my Lord, do not put me among the harmdoing people' 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence. 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
