Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
