Say, "Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment, 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence. 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance and you used to laugh at them. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Did you, then, think that We created you in mere idle play, and that you would not have to return to Us?" 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
