Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein. 104 [And God will say:] "Were not My messages conveyed unto you, and were you [not] wont to give them the lie?" 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance and you used to laugh at them. 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 Did you imagine that We created you without any purpose, and that you will not be brought back to Us?" 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
