Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 Their faces will be scorched by flames, and they will grin and scowl within it. 104 'What, were My signs not recited to you, and you cried them lies?' 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers' 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
