Do you not see that Allah is exalted by whomever is within the heavens and the earth and [by] the birds with wings spread [in flight]? Each [of them] has known his [means of] prayer and exalting [Him], and Allah is Knowing of what they do. 41 To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and to Him do all things return. 42 Do you not see that Allah drives clouds? Then He brings them together, then He makes them into a mass, and you see the rain emerge from within it. And He sends down from the sky, mountains [of clouds] within which is hail, and He strikes with it whom He wills and averts it from whom He wills. The flash of its lightening almost takes away the eyesight. 43 It is God who causes night and day to alternate: in this [too,] behold, there is surely a lesson for all who have eyes to see! 44 And Allah has created every animal from water: of them there are some that creep on their bellies; some that walk on two legs; and some that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills for verily Allah has power over all things. 45 Assuredly We have sent down revelations illuminating: and Allah guideth whomsoever He listeth unto a path straight. 46 And they say: We believe in Allah and the messenger, and we obey; then after that a faction of them turn away. Such are not believers. 47 When they are called to God and His Prophet, that he may judge between them, a section of them turns away. 48 But if the right is theirs, they come to him in prompt obedience. 49 Are their hearts afflicted with the disease (of hypocrisy)? Or, are they in doubt? Or, do they fear that Allah and His Messenger will be unjust to them? In fact, they themselves are unjust. 50
