Highly blessed is He, Who, if He wills, could give you much more and better things than what they propose for you: (Not one but) many gardens, beneath which rivers flow; and big castles: 10 In fact they deny the Last Day; and We have kept prepared a blazing fire for those who deny the Last Day. 11 When it sees them from a place far off, they will hear its fury and its ranging sigh. 12 And when they are thrown into a narrow place therein bound in chains, they will cry out thereupon for destruction. 13 [But they will be told:] "Pray not today for one single extinction, but pray for many extinctions!" 14 Say thou: is that better or Garden of Abidance that hath been promised to the God-fearing? It shall be theirs as a recompense and a retreat. 15 Theirs therein shall be all that they wish for, as abiders; a promise from thy Lord to be asked for. 16 And [mention] the Day He will gather them and that which they worship besides Allah and will say, "Did you mislead these, My servants, or did they [themselves] stray from the way?" 17 They will submit, “Purity is to You – it was not rightful for us to appoint any Master besides You; but You gave them and their forefathers usage to the extent that they forgot Your Remembrance; and they were indeed the people who destroy themselves.” 18 the Remembrance, and were a people corrupt.' So they cried lies touching the things you say, and you can neither turn it aside, nor find any help. Whosoever of you does evil, We shall let him taste a great chastisement. 19 And the messengers whom We sent before thee were all (men) who ate food and walked through the streets: We have made some of you as a trial for others: will ye have patience? for Allah is One Who sees (all things). 20
