۞ Those people, who have no fear of coming before Us, say, "Why should not the angels be sent down to us? Or else we should see our Lord. " Great arrogance have they assumed in regard to themselves, and have transgressed all limits in their rebellion. 21 The day they see the angels there will be no happy tidings for the sinners; and they will say: "There is an insurmountable barrier!" 22 Then We shall advance upon the work which they have done and render it as scattered dust. 23 Fellows of the Garden shall be on that Day in a goodly abode and a goodly repose. 24 The Day the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and angels shall be sent down, descending (in ranks),- 25 That Day, the dominion as of right and truth, shall be (wholly) for (Allah) Most Merciful: it will be a Day of dire difficulty for the misbelievers. 26 And the day when the unjust one shall bite his hands saying: O! would that I had taken a way with the Apostle 27 Alas for me! Ah, would that I had never taken such an one for friend! 28 He led me astray from the Warning after it had come to me. Satan always betrays man. 29 And the Noble Messenger submitted, “O my Lord – indeed my people took this Qur’an as worthy of being abandoned.” 30 Thus have We made for every Prophet an enemy among the Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, criminals, etc.). But Sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say: "Why is not the Quran revealed to him all at once?" Thus (it is sent down in parts), that We may strengthen your heart thereby. And We have revealed it to you gradually, in stages. (It was revealed to the Prophet SAW in 23 years.). 32 And no question do they bring to thee but We reveal to thee the truth and the best explanation (thereof). 33 Those who will be gathered to Hell (prone) on their faces, such will be in an evil state, and most astray from the (Straight) Path. 34
