Hast thou not turned thy vision to thy Lord?- How He doth prolong the shadow! If He willed, He could make it stationary! then do We make the sun its guide; 45 Then We draw it in towards Ourselves,- a contraction by easy stages. 46 And it is He Who made the night a veil for you, and the sleep a rest, and made the day for getting up. 47 It is He who sends the winds as heralds of His mercy and We send down pure water from the sky, 48 That We may give life thereby to a dead land and give it for drink, out of what We have created, to cattle and many people. 49 And verily We have repeated it among them that they may remember, but most of mankind begrudge aught save ingratitude. 50 If We had so wished, We might have sent a warner into every town, 51 Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness, with the (Qur'an). 52 ۞ And it is He who let forth the two seas, this one Sweet, grateful to taste, and this salt, bitter to the tongue, and He set between them a barrier, and a ban forbidden. 53 It is He Who has created man from water: then has He established relationships of lineage and marriage: for thy Lord has power (over all things). 54 They worship besides God things that can neither benefit nor harm them. The unbelievers are defiant against their Lord. 55 O Muhammad, We have sent you only to proclaim good tidings and to give warning. 56 Tell them: "I do not ask any recompense of you for this other than (urging) whoever likes may take the way to his Lord." 57 And put thy trust in Him Who lives and dies not; and celebrate his praise; and enough is He to be acquainted with the faults of His servants;- 58 Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six Days, then He mounted the Throne. The Beneficent! Ask anyone informed concerning Him! 59 When it is said to them, "Prostrate to (Allah) Most Gracious!", they say, "And what is (Allah) Most Gracious? Shall we prostrate to that which thou commandest us?" And it increases their flight (from the Truth). ۩ 60
