Have you not seen that your Lord increases the shadow. Had He wanted He would have made it stationary], and has made the sun their guide. 45 Then We hold it in hand for a brief grasp. 46 And He it is Who maketh night a covering for you, and sleep repose, and maketh day a resurrection. 47 It is He who loosens the winds, bearing glad tidings before the Hands of His Mercy, and We have sent down pure water from the heaven, 48 That We may bring to life thereby a dead land and give it as drink to those We created of numerous livestock and men. 49 And We set it forth among them, that they may be admonished, but most men begrudge aught save infidelity. 50 Had We wanted We could have sent a Prophet to every town. 51 So do not listen to the disbelievers and, with this Qur’an, fight a great war against them. 52 ۞ It was He who let forth the two seas, this one is palatably sweet and this salt, a bitter taste, and He set a barrier between them, and a refuge which is forbidden. 53 It is He who has created the human being from water to have relationships of both lineage and wedlock. Your Lord has all power. 54 Yet they worship, instead of Allah, those who can neither benefit them nor harm them: more than this, the disbeliever has become a helper of every rebel against his Lord. 55 And We have not sent you but as a giver of good news and as a warner. 56 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (that which I have brought from my Lord and its preaching, etc.), save that whosoever wills, may take a Path to his Lord. 57 And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allah] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, Acquainted - 58 Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six Days, then He mounted the Throne. The Beneficent! Ask anyone informed concerning Him! 59 When it is said to them, "Prostrate to (Allah) Most Gracious!", they say, "And what is (Allah) Most Gracious? Shall we prostrate to that which thou commandest us?" And it increases their flight (from the Truth). ۩ 60
