Al-Furqaan 6 of 6
Exalted is He who put constellations in the heavens, a radiant lamp and an illuminating moon -- 61 It is He who has made the night and the day, one proceeding the other, for whoever wants to take heed or give thanks. 62 Devotees of Ar-Rahman are those who walk with humility on the earth, and when they are addressed by the ignorant, say: 'Peace;" 63 and who remember their Sustainer far into the night, prostrating themselves and standing; 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 It is indeed an evil halt and an evil abode;" 66 Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes); 67 and who never invoke any [imaginary] deity side by side with God, and do not take any human beings life - [the life] which God has willed to be sacred - otherwise than in [the pursuit of] justice, and do not commit adultery. And [know that] he who commits aught thereof shall [not only] meet with a full requital 68 doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection is his punishment, and therein he shall live, humbled, 69 Except him who repents and believes and does a good deed; so these are they of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 70 He who repents and does good deeds has truly turned to God. 71 and those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by idle talk, pass by with honor 72 and who when they are reminded of the verses of their Lord, they do not fall down deaf and blind. 73 And who say: Our Lord! Vouchsafe us comfort of our wives and of our offspring, and make us patterns for (all) those who ward off (evil). 74 They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace, 75 And abide there for ever: What an excellent destination and abode! 76 Say: "My Lord is not concerned on your account if you do not pray to Him. You have surely done with denying; soon will come the inevitable judgement. 77
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
