Exalted is He who put constellations in the heavens, a radiant lamp and an illuminating moon -- 61 And He it is Who made the night and the day to follow each other for him who desires to be mindful or desires to be thankful. 62 And the servants of the Beneficent Allah are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace. 63 And who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing, 64 who pray, "Our Lord, save us from the torment of Hell, for its torment is killing: 65 Indeed it is a most wretched abode. 66 And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two; 67 And those who do not worship any other deity along with Allah, and do not unjustly kill any living thing which Allah has forbidden, nor commit adultery; and whoever does this will receive punishment. 68 doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection is his punishment, and therein he shall live, humbled, 69 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. God will change the evil deeds of such people into good ones: He is most forgiving and most merciful. 70 and whosoever repents, and does righteousness, he truly turns to God in repentance. 71 (And the servants of the Merciful are those:) who do not bear witness to falsehood and who; if they have ever to pass by what is vain, pass by like dignified people: 72 who do not turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the signs of their Lord when they are reminded of them; 73 And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqun" (pious - see V. 2:2 and the footnote of V. 3:164)." 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest rank for their patience. There they shall receive a greeting, and peace! 75 Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest! 76 O Muhammad, tell the people, "MyLord does not care at all if you do not invoke Him. Now that you have denied (His Revelation), you will soon be awarded such a punishment which you will never be able to avoid." 77
