Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light; 61 And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 Those who spend the night in adoration of their Lord prostrate and standing; 64 and who pray: "O our Sustainer, avert from us the suffering of hell - for, verily, the suffering caused by it is bound to be a torment dire: 65 Lo! it is wretched as abode and station; 66 who when they spend are neither wasteful nor miserly, between that is a just stand, 67 And those who call not unto other god along with Allah and slay not any soul which Allah hath forbidden, save in justification, and commit not fornication. And whosoever shall do this, shall incur the meed. 68 and on the Day of Judgment their torment will be double. They will suffer forever in disgrace. 69 Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, 70 Whosoever repents and does the right, will have turned back to God by way of repentance; 71 And those who bear not false witness and, when they pass by idle talk, pass by with dignity; 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 who pray, "Our Lord, bless us with wives and children, who may be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders of the righteous. " - 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest heaven, for that they endured patiently, and they shall receive therein a greeting and --' Peace!' 75 Abiding there for ever. Happy is it as abode and station! 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent. 77
