Blessed is He who has established constellations in the sky and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 it is He who has made night and day succeed each other, a sign for those who would take heed and would be grateful. 62 And the bondmen of the Compassionate are those who walk upon the earth meekly and when the ignorants address them, they say peace 63 and those who spend the night prostrating themselves, and standing before their Lord, 64 who say, 'Our Lord, turn Thou from us the chastisement of Gehenna; surely its chastisement is torment most terrible; 65 Verily ill it is as an abode and as a station. 66 And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two; 67 and who never invoke any [imaginary] deity side by side with God, and do not take any human beings life - [the life] which God has willed to be sacred - otherwise than in [the pursuit of] justice, and do not commit adultery. And [know that] he who commits aught thereof shall [not only] meet with a full requital 68 Whose punishment will be doubled on the Day of Judgement, and he will live for ever in disgrace, 69 Except those who repent and come to believe and do the right, for whom God will turn evil into goodness, for God is forgiving and kind. 70 He who repents and does good works truly turns to Allah in repentance, 71 And they who do not bear witness to what is false, and when they pass by what is vain, they pass by nobly. 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous." 74 They will be rewarded the highest position in heaven, the recompense of their patience, and they will be welcomed with honour and greetings of peace. 75 They shall abide in it forever; what an excellent abode and place of stay. 76 Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come. 77
