The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
