The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
