The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
