The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
