The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
