The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
