The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
