The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
