The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
