The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
