The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
