The Poets (Alshu'araa')
227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Never does a new reminder come to them from Ar-Rahman but they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
