The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 Never does a new reminder come to them from Ar-Rahman but they turn away from it. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
