And (remember) when your Lord said to Moosa, “Go to the unjust people.” 10 The folk of Pharaoh. Will they not ward off (evil)? 11 He said: "My Lord! Verily, I fear that they will belie me, 12 and then my breast will be straitened and my tongue will not be free: send, then, [this Thy command] to Aaron. 13 "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me." 14 He said: By no means, so go you both with Our signs; surely We are with you, hearing; 15 Go to Pharaoh and say, 'We are the messengers of the Lord of the worlds, 16 Send the Israelites with us". 17 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you spent several years of your life with us. 18 And [then] you did your deed which you did, and you were of the ungrateful." 19 Moses said: "I did it then, when I was in error. 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me one of the messengers. 21 And [as for] that favour of which thou so tauntingly remindest me - [was it not] due to thy having enslaved the children of Israel?" 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 He said, 'The Lord of the heavens and earth, and what between them is, if you have faith.' 24 Pharaoh said to those around him: "Do you hear (what he says)?" 25 Said Moosa, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers preceding you.” 26 The Pharaoh said, "The Messenger who has been sent to you is certainly insane". 27 He said: Lord of the east and the west and whatsoever is in-between, if ye understand. 28 Said he, 'If thou takest a god other than me, I shall surely make thee one of the imprisoned.' 29 Musa (Moses) said: "Even if I bring you something manifest (and convincing)?" 30 [Pharaoh] answered: "Produce it, then, if thou art a man of truth!" 31 So Moses threw down his staff and suddenly it appeared as a serpent, plainly visible. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it was white to the beholders. 33
