(Recount to them about the time) when Your Lord called Moses: "Go to the wrong-doing people, 10 the people of Pharaoh: do they have no fear?" 11 'My Lord' he replied, 'I fear they will belie me 12 And I shall be embarrassed, and my tongue will not speak plainly, therefor send for Aaron (to help me). 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they will kill me. 14 (It was) said: "By no means. Go with My signs, both of you. I am verily with you and I hear. 15 So go ye twain unto Fir'awn and say: verily we are the apostles of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 [Commanded to say], "Send with us the Children of Israel."'" 17 Said Firaun, “Did we do not raise you amongst us, as a child? And you spent many years of your life among us!” 18 "And thou didst a deed of thine which (thou knowest) thou didst, and thou art an ungrateful (wretch)!" 19 Moses said, "I did do it and I made a mistake. 20 Then I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord vouchsafed me a command and appointed me (of the number) of those sent (by Him). 21 That is a blessing thou reproachest me with, having enslaved the Children of Israel.' 22 Firon said: And what is the Lord of the worlds? 23 Said Moosa, “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; if you believe.” 24 'Do you not hear' said he (Pharaoh) to those around him. 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of old. 26 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Verily, your Messenger who has been sent to you is a madman!" 27 Moses said, "He is the Lord of the East and the West, and all that lies between them, if only you could understand." 28 [Pharaoh] said, "If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned." 29 He said: What! even if I bring to you something manifest? 30 (Pharaoh) said: "Show it then, if thou tellest the truth!" 31 So (Moses) threw his rod, and behold, it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)! 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it looked white to the beholders. 33
