۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
