۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
