۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 they have enraged us, 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
