۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
