۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 "There is a small group of people 54 They are always harassing us. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
