۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
