۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
