۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
