۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
