۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
