۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
