۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
