۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
