۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
